Innovative linings for the mills
__Innovative lining "Parquet" is a modification of the lining type "Wave", retaining all its advantages, creates additional flows of material in the internal volume of the mill.
__Lining "Parquet" consists of annular belts, which in the cross section have a wave form, where the axis of the wave is located at an angle to the axis of the mill, and the crest of the wave forms a multi-spiral coil.
__In this case, the spirals of neighboring belts have the opposite direction of rotation.
__During the rotation of the drum, there are two zones of additional material flows:
__- the first zone, in the lower part of the mill, in the contact area of the incoming lining of the mill with the mass of moving milling bodies and the material to be crushed;

__- the second zone, in the upper part of the mill, in the area of separation of the grinding bodies and the grinding material from the mill lining.
__During the rotation of the mill, relative to the distance from the surface of the drum to the center, relative displacements appear between the loading layers. As a consequence, on the boundary of the crests of the wave, due to the difference in the velocities of the grinding bodies and the material to be ground, new counterflows of material are created in the direction along the axis of the mill. That is, the processes of crushing and abrasion in the border zones of the movement of counterflows are increasing.
__Red color zones are allocated for additional impact of mill loading.
__The mechanism of the lining of the "Parquet" type allows:
• improve the efficiency of the grinding process;
• Reduce the specific energy consumption;
• increase the service life of the lining;
• Increase mill productivity.
