__The most common scheme for rubber lining is “lifter-plate”. At the same time single-element lining plates of different profiles are used as well. These linings are used for the mills of the second and third grinding stages. For the mills of the first grinding stage they use a combined poly-metal lining made of rubber and wear-resistant metal inserts. Geometrical sizes and wear resistance essentially influence on operating and technological characteristics of the lining. Therefore the choice of the most optimum lining design is the main factor defining the working characteristics of the mill.
